The Pebbles Center is a joint collaboration between the New Orleans Public Library and the Stone Center for Latin American Studies at Tulane University. The Center‘€™s goal is to enhance the learning and lives of the children of New Orleans by offering them resources and opportunities to experience the rich diversity of Latin America. Each year the Center contributes books and resources to the New Orleans Public Library‘€™s collection and organizes special events and activities around special themes. All are welcome to learn more about Latin America in the Spring 2011 La hora del cuento book reading series. This bilingual storytime program is for children ages 2-6 and is followed by an activity.
