On Tuesday, November 24 at 11:30 a.m., Paulo Gusmao and Andy Turner, representatives of the Latin American Working Group will be available in the Greenleaf Conference Room (100A Jones Hall) to discuss their work on advocating for US policy towards Cuba and how undergraduate and graduate students can get involved. The Latin American Working Group is one of the nation’s longest standing national coalitions dedicated to foreign policy. As a coalition, LAWG represents the interests of over 60 major religious, humanitarian, grassroots, and policy organizations to decision makers in Washington and they provide guidance to policy makers who want to ground their decisions in human rights.
