The Effect of CAFTA on Costa Rica

The Central American Free Trade Agreement (CAFTA) has had lasting effects on both large international corporations and small business in Central America. Bobby Mannis and Daniel Finley discuss the influence of CAFTA on Costa Rica, through interviews with San Jose residents, whose views on the effects of the agreement, and its implications for Costa Rica, vary greatly. Produced in summer 2015 in conjunction with Introduction to Globalization, taught by Prof. Casey Love, as part of the Altman Program, and the Center for Public Service7:47.
