Tulane University’s Stone Center for Latin American Studies, the Pebbles Center Westbank, and Capoeira Nola will sponsor a story time and capoeira Demonstration on June 16th. The New Orleans Public Library summer 2015 reading program theme is Every Hero Has a Story, the perfect theme for our capoeira program. This interactive story time explores the Brazilian martial art of capoeira through music, movement, and song. The program highlights ways we can celebrate heroes from around the world.

The program is free and open to the public. Please join us to celebrate and learn about Brazil through capoeira!

The capoeira demonstration is sponsored by Capoeira NOLA. For more information, please call 504.862.3143 or email .
