Afro-Latin Xpressions will be held on Wednesday, March 25th from 6:00 – 9:00 PM on the Jones Hall Patio. The event will include traditional Garifuna style dancing and music, as well as performances by a Dominican artist, Jose Fermin Ceballos, who will play traditional Dominican dance styles.

From a garifuna (Afro-Honduran community) group of performers dancing the traditional Punta dance style, to an Orisha (Afro-Cuban Santeria) lyrical workshop, this evening of expressions will engage and allow us to all take part in a truly unique and multi-national experience. The evening does not end there! Join us in dancing and enjoying the music of our local Dominican artist, Jose Fermin Ceballos and his band—performing bachata, merengue, son, and much more! ‘’
