Health Care for Immigrants in New Orleans

Many immigrants from Latin America have come to New Orleans and have been a vital part of the rebuilding efforts since Katrina. A common problem for undocumented immigrants is access to health care. Jesse Bird, Sam Sgroi, and Nate Treacy explore the access to health care of undocumented immigrants from Latin America and how workers deal with the complications of access to this vital resource. Produced in spring 2014 in conjunction with Politics of Immigration, taught by Prof. Casey Love, and the Center for Public Service. 7:36.
