The podcasts will air on News and Views, a show which airs every Friday from 8:00 -10:00 AM. The podcasts will be featured in the 8:30 – 9:00 AM spot.

The first podcasts to be aired will feature connections between Brazil and New Orleans. As you gear up for the second weekend of Jazz Fest these podcasts can help you understand the relationship between Brazil and New Orleans, a major focus at this year’s Jazz Fest.

Enlaces Américas is a cooperative program of the Stone Center for Latin American Studies and the Center for Public Service. The podcasts were created to fulfill academic service learning as well as encourage independent thinking and scholarship among students. Through reflection, assessment, and learning by doing, students gain a deeper understanding of course content and the importance of civic engagement.

WTUL can be found at 91.5 FM or you can listen online.

If you miss the broadcast on WTUL, the podcasts will be archived on the Stone Center website. Previous Enlaces podcasts are also available on this site.
