Join the Stone Center as it welcomes Nortec Collective – Tijuana Sound Machine for two days of conversation and music.

On Thursday, April 19th, Sophie Esch will lead a discussion on the ‘€œAltered State: violence, art and border culture in contemporary Mexico‘€, with Ramón Amezcua, Pepe Mogt and Juan Carlos Reyna, from the Nortec Collective -Tijuana Sound in the Greenleaf Conference Room.

Then, on Friday, April 20th, don’t miss the Nortec Collective – Tijuana Sound Machine music performance along with local musicians at the Jones Hall Patio.

This event is organized with the support of the Department of Spanish and Portuguese, The School of Liberal Arts, The Department of Music and the Latin American Graduate Student Association.
